2011:
The summer has started!
For the last five years the Erieau Watersports School and our crew of wakeboard enthusiasts have been pushing the limits of wakeboarding with our event called SHREDFEST. This year will be no different. This is a grassroots contest that really isn't much of a contest at all. Our goal is to promote the sport of wakeboarding and have a fun day on the water where people can experience the lifestyle of watersports and enjoy a great day on the bay. The riders are from all over Ontario and they each strive for the "secret" trophy and to be dubbed the "Heaviest Shredder of the Year!" There is only one winner and they are chosen by the riders in a group consensus. This year at SHREDFEST 6 we plan on doing things better than ever. On August 13th Rondeau Bay will once again be charged by wakeboarders sliding rails and jumping off ramps to show of their moves. SHREDFEST is a charitable event with proceeds going to the Erieau Fire Fighters Association.
Unfortunately at Shredfest we have a very limited amount of space and can only allow a limited amount of people in the event. If you are interested In coming to Shredfest this year please contact Colin Chrysler via email.
